Above is a picture of Michel (far right) with his 3 Champions of the day.
Before choosing his champions Michel took a moment to acknowledge the impact of three judges who've really inspired him: Callum McKinven, Lowell Lindsay and Bob Morrell. These are three judges who for Michel symbolize knowledgeability of cattle, have a great presence in the show ring, as well as the audacity it takes to place the cows as they see fit.
Michel went on to say that it takes a special kind of person to share their lives with someone who's as passionate about holstein cattle as I am, this person is often obliged to lead a solitary life while allowing me to follow my passion. Today I'd like to give her the honour of slapping on the Grand Champion, reserve and HM cows that I've chosen.
